GFCNA seeks to offer interested registered nurses opportunities to
come together to pray, witness, support, learn, and share practice ideas in
faith communities and to nurture personal spiritual development
.

 GFCNA is committed to bring together faith community nurses and those associated with Health Ministry throughout the Georgia; providing an association that will support, provide resources for, and continuing education to maintain the professional standards of registered nurses who serve their congregations and communities, by promoting care of the body, mind and spirit for healing and wellness.  GFCNA, inspired by God’s love for all, serves people in need, advocates for justice, and collaborates with others to build just, compassionate communities. 

 

Georgia Faith Community Nurses Association is committed to help Health Ministry programs in Georgia to:

Assessment for initiating or continuing a Faith Community Nursing practice 

 Resource Center Library 

Discounts for members on educational offerings & conferences

Guidance and support for the nurse through a mentoring network 

Networking meetings for nurses that provide a sharing of information and best practices

Support forums for professional speakers & discussion  

Communication materials offering: to Up-to-date faith based nursing practice 

Meetings, retreats, networking opportunities 

Educational programs & materials for nurses, volunteers, clients/families, clergy and the general public
